Return Policy and Procedure
Product Damaged In Shipping
If a package or product delivered to you arrives damaged, please refuse the delivery or contact us immediately at [email protected]. If you accept delivery, claims for product damaged in delivery must be reported within two days of your receipt of the order.
Subject as specified in the product listing or this Return Policy and Procedure, Carbon Technologies Inc. will accept products damaged in shipping for refund or exchange, returned to our facility within 14 days of the date of receipt by the customer.
Defective Product
All products bought through carbontechinc.com are warranted for a period of one year from date of purchase.
Subject as specified in the product listing or this Return Policy and Procedure, Carbon Technologies Inc. will accept defective products for repair, refund or exchange, returned to our facility within one year of the date of receipt by the customer.
Product that is damaged as a result of wear and tear or misuse or that has not received the care required for its maintenance is not considered to be defective.
Return Shipping
Postage and handling charges, both to and from our facility will be paid by the customer, and are non-refundable. At our discretion, Carbon Technologies Inc. may reimburse shipping charges related to the return or exchange of product damaged in shipping or defective products.
For your protection, we recommend that you insure your return and use a traceable carrier that can provide you with delivery confirmation. Carbon Technologies Inc. will not be responsible for products returned that are lost or damaged in transit.
Return Authorization Number
Returned product will not be accepted without a valid Return Authorization Number. You may request a Return Authorization Number online. Return Authorization Numbers are valid for 14 days from issuance, but we encourage you to return the product as soon as possible. Any return we receive without a valid Return Authorization Number will be documented and may be rejected or subject to a restocking charge at Carbon Technologies Inc.’s sole discretion.
Inspection Upon Return
All returned products will be thoroughly inspected to ensure that the Return Policy Conditions are met. Please verify the product you are returning meets the Return Policy Conditions below to avoid any delay in or denial of your return. We have the right to deny a return if it does not conform to any of our Return Policy Conditions.
If a non-conforming product is accepted for return, Carbon Technologies Inc. reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of 20%.
Return processing may take 15 business days from the time your product is received at our facility.
Return Policy Conditions
- Products must be in the original and complete manufacturer’s packaging, and shipped securely
- Products must be complete with any standard certification labels (UL listing, capacity, brand name, UPC code) originally placed
- Product serial number, or any similar identification numbers, must match the serial number on the product or invoice (Carbon Technologies Inc. maintains serial number tracking on specialty items)
- Unless product is returned under warranty, products must be unworn and free of damage of any type, including, but not limited to, dents, scratches, cracks, abuse, defacement or indication of removed screws/fasteners or seals
- Products must not show signs of wear or tampering or have been altered, resized or damaged in any way after receipt by you.
Repair, Exchange and Refund
In the event that the product you are returning does not meet the Return Policy Conditions, we will photograph the merchandise and packaging, and prepare a detailed summary of our determination as to why the return was declined. The product(s) will be deemed not eligible for return to Carbon Technologies Inc. and will be returned to you at your own risk and expense.
In the event that the product you are returning does meet the Return Policy Conditions, we will repair the damage or defect or, at the sole discretion of Carbon Technologies Inc., exchange your product for the same product, subject to availability. At the sole discretion of Carbon Technologies Inc., you will receive a full refund or credit if the product cannot be repaired or replaced.
This Return Policy and Procedure is provided in lieu of and not in addition to any statutory or common law warranties or obligations of Carbon Technologies Inc., where permitted.
